Telerik .NET Controls for Infragistics Users (PUG Challenge Americas 2015)

This session is for developers currently using the Infragistics .NET Controls (OpenEdge UltraControls) and wonder if they should be using the.NET Control set of Progress Softwares latest acquisition in addition or as an alternative to the Infragistics Controls. The session provides a high level overview of the Telerik .NET Controls and will compare the features and usage of the Grid, Calendar and Ribbon Controls based on outstanding features of the two Control sets in question. The session does also discuss the pros and cons of using both Control sets in a single application. The presenter has started implementing the Telerik WinForm Controls as an alternative Control set in a framework that so far featured a tight integration with the Infragistics .NET Controls and will also cover aspects of licensing and technical support.
