Visual Designer related OpenEdge 11.7.3 product alert!!!

Yesterday we've logged an issue in the Progress Developer Studio Visual Designer with Progress Software support. 

This regression disallows updating properties of ABL user controls in the Visual Designer. These properties are disabled in the Property Grid. This was working fine in OpenEdge 11.7.2. At this time we cannot recommend any customer using the Visual Designer - especially customers of the SmartComponent Library - to upgrade to OpenEdge 11.7.3 (the re-release).

We're tracking the progress of this issue in our JIRA as SCL-2216

Progress Software has confirmed the issue as bug number PSC00365393 and is working on a hotfix for OpenEdge 11.7.3

We'll update you once we have successfully tested OpenEdge 11.7.3 and the Visual Designer.

Update 31/07/2018

Progress Software has released hotfix 11.7.3.007 which is supposed to address issue PSC00365393. We will test this hot fix in the next couple of days and will update you on the progress.
