A Smart Data Source configured for client-side filtering retrieved only the first 100 records from the backend, because its read did not state a row limit and the server applied its own default batch size. Client-side filtering, sorting and paging then operated on that partial set, and because the grid derives its record count from the rows it receives, the pager reported the truncated figure as the total, so nothing indicated that records were missing. The data source now requests the complete dataset explicitly. This affects any application data source that sets serverSideFiltering to false.
