Maintaining and monitoring scheduled Jobs from GUI frontend
Creating a Scheduler job
To create a Scheduler Job, you will use the Scheduler Job Maintenance.
In the menu on top you can add, update, copy or delete a record.
Add a new scheduler Job
Click on “Add record”
Choose a Job Name
Insert a Description
And type the maximum of Runtime seconds
Click on “Save Changes” to save the Scheduler Job.
Configurating a Scheduler Job
Open the Scheduler Job Plan Maintenance
On the top you will find the menu to add, update, copy or delete a record.
Click “Add record”.
With clicking on the … Button on the right side of the “Job Name” field, you will open a dropdown Box, where you can choose all created Scheduler Jobs.
Choose Scheduler Job
Fill in the Max. Runtime and Max. Delay in seconds.
Choose a Plan type and when the Scheduler Job will start.
Job Parameter and Database Connections are not essential.
If you add a weekly “Plan Type”, it will open a week view.
You can choose the week days, recurring execution times and the “validation from” and “validation to”.
If you add a monthly “Plan Type”, it will open a monthly view.
You can choose the months, on which dates of a month the job will be planned, which time the job will be planned and the “validation from” and “validation to”.
Click “Save changes” to save your scheduled job.
Monitoring scheduled Jobs
To monitor all scheduled jobs you will use the “Scheduler Job Status Monitor.
On the top you will find the menu for refreshing, on hold, resuming and cancelling a Scheduler Job.
On the left side you have the overview about all scheduled jobs with details:
Job Name
When the Job was or is scheduled
If the job is recurring
The “Job Status” like scheduled, finished or failed
The “Status Text”
And the progress
By clicking on a job, it opens the details on the left side.

The name
The Discription
If the job is recurring
The scheduled Job execution
Start Date Time
Finished Date Time
The Job Status
The Status Text
The Progress
The Max. Delauy
And defined Job Parameter
